Bloody Mary

The Bar Six Bloody Mary

On a whim, I decided to swing into Bar Six located in Greenwich Village. This French/Moroccan restaurant has a very chill vibe and the bartender was really friendly. I opted to just enjoy my Bloody Mary, so I didn’t eat while I was there, but I can tell you that the food smelled and looked amazing.

So, let’s dig into this Bloody.

Key Takeaways

The Bar Six Bloody is a bit of a no frills one. It’s served up in a pint glass and has the standard two bar olives and lemon slide garnish. Flavor wise, this was pretty balanced with a slightly strong horseradish taste. This had a completely smooth texture with no chunks at all.

Overall, I’d say this one is exactly what you’d expect if you were hoping for a Bloody Mary. It’s nothing spectacular, but it was exactly what I wanted when I had a Bloody in mind. Buuuuuuuuut, the cost was a little too high for my taste given the very standard Bloody that it was. This one will set you back $17.

If you’re in the area and was a classic Bloody Mary, you wouldn’t be wrong to order this one. I do think its cost is a little too steep, though.
