Bloody Mary

The Beekman Hotel Bloody Mary

Before moving in NYC, spending time in a hotel bar probably would not have made it on my list of things to do. But what I’ve found is that many hotel bars are offer some pretty great views and can be an easy way to enjoy a rooftop moment. A recent hotel bar I found myself in randomly was the Beekman Hotel. When I walked into the room, I was taken in by the Victorian-style atrium and pretty bar.

Key takeaways

In classic fashion, the Beekman’s bloody Mary is served in a highball glass with minimal garnish that included a lemon rind, lime wedge and olive. The flavor is pretty well balanced and is tomato forward. There is a very slight spice to it that really went a long way with the overall flavor. The texture was quite smooth with this one and it was easily sippable.

The cost will set you back $18 for this cocktail, which is on the higher end. Though, I will say, given the venue, I’m not shocked at the price.

Even though it’s on the higher end, the flavor was a real winner here. This is a drink I would go out of my way to have again.
