Bodrum Bloody Mary
My friends and I took the v trendy walk from the tippy top of Manhattan, all the way down to Battery Park. Naturally when we stopped for a bite to eat, I had to order a Bloody Mary. This trip took me to Bodrum, a Mediterranean restaurant located in the Upper West Side.
Without further ado, let’s dig into this drink.
Key Takeaways
First impressions of this drink were, it’s cute… but a little small. The garnish includes a lemon wedge and a bar olive, which is minimal but still decent. However, the olive was not good at all. Flavor wise, it was a good drink. It’s nicely spiced with a little bit of heat that lingers. It’s definitely not an overwhelming heat by any means, but it had a subtleness that was enjoyable. There were some slight chunks in the drink but not off-putting.
At $9 a cocktail, I’d definitely drink more than one of these. But they are smaller, so I honestly think the cost evens out to other bloodies that I’ve had at a slightly higher cost (and bigger glass).

If you’re in the area, I’d say give this one a try! It’s a classic Bloody, but with a nice little kick to it.
