Boutros Bloody Mary
I actually ended up at Boutros when my original plans for the day fell through. But I’m glad it worked out because the food here was pretty nice. Boutros is located in Cobble Hill and has a Middle Eastern vibe to the menu, so I had high hopes that their Bloody would be reminiscent of the famous flavors of the area. But, did it live up to that expectation? Let’s discuss.
Key takeaways
This Bloody Mary is served in a highball glass with an olive and lemon wedge as the garnish. Nothing too fancy in terms of garnish, but I did appreciate that the olive didn’t taste like it’d been sitting in a dish next to some maraschino cherries for months.
The cocktail itself was a bit thick, though smooth. There were minimal chunks that weren’t too noticeable. Flavorwise, the Aleppo pepper was the big hitter here. It kicked up the drink a notch but didn’t feel overpowering. The flavor overall was pretty balanced, but I think it could have been taken to the next level.
I didn’t catch the final cost, but it was either $14 or $15.

Overall, it’s a decent Bloody. I liked the kick of the Aleppo in here, but wish there was just a liiiiittle bit more here.
