Bloody Mary

The Siena Cafe Bloody Mary

A recent brunch excursion brought me to Siena Cafe, where they offer a $32 brunch option which includes an entree and bottomless brunch cocktails. But before I jump into any bottomless brunch situations, I want to make sure the cocktails and food are worth the money. So, for today, I ordered a one off beverage.

For my food, I ordered a butternut squash frittata and it was OK. I wouldn’t order it again. While the food was pretty meh, the outdoor space we sat in was very cute. It looks like a very solid structure, but there was a nice breeze going through the space making it a very comfortable spot. I didn’t get a peek at the inside, but from the pictures I’ve seen, it looks like a nice space for indoor seating.

But, let’s chat about the Bloody.

Key Takeaways

This Bloody Mary is served in a low ball glass with a solitary lime wedge as the garnish. The glass was very nice to look at, but the lack of garnish was a little sad to see.

The flavor was pretty nice overall and felt well balanced. Every once in a while, I would get a hint of pickle juice, but it wasn’t off overpowering by any means. There wasn’t any strong spice or black pepper flavor to it and the texture was quite smooth.

Siena Cafe’s Bloody Mary costs only $10 for the single beverage, but as I mentioned earlier, you can also get it as part of a bottomless brunch option as well.

My Rating: 5.6/10

  • Garnish – 2
  • Originality – 4
  • Spice/Flavor – 6.5
  • Presentation – 5
  • Texture – 8
  • Value – 8

Costing $10, this Bloody is a pretty standard version of the cocktail. It’s cost effective and delivers everything you want from a Bloody. While this isn’t one I will go out of my way to drink, it’s definitely one I’d order again if I were at the restaurant.
