Bloody Mary

Allswell Bloody Mary

I recently found myself in Williamsburg and swung into Allswell to grab some lunch. I hadn’t been to this place before, but according to Google, it’s a “globally-inspired menu.” To be honest, I didn’t really see that on the menu, but I did order the chicken sandwich and was overall pleased with it! The vibe is definitely pretty low key here, especially compared to the bar across the street that was getting pretty rowdy.

My one complaint about this place is their bathroom soap, though. It has an odd smell that lingers a bit too long… But other than that, it’s a pretty solid place. So, let’s dig into what their Bloody is like.

Key Takeaways

Their Bloody Mary uses a house-made mix that has a strong black pepper flavor. It’s served up in a standard pint glass with three bar olives and a lemon wedge. The mix is smooth with no big chunks and is decently balanced. It comes in at $14, which isn’t too bad – especially since it’s in Williamsburg.

If I were in Allswell again during brunch, I may order this one again. But I heard their other cocktails were quite good as well, so it’s a toss up. All that said, I wouldn’t go out of my way for this Bloody. But if you do find yourself at Allswell, do yourself a favor and order the chicken sandwich.
