Bloody Mary

Leonetta Bloody Mary

Another day, another brunch. This time, brunch brought me to Leonetta in Murray Hill. The menu overall focuses on Mediterranean flavors and there are some great options to choose from, including the steak and eggs kebab. I didn’t order it myself, but I snagged a bite from the person I was with and it was divine! I ordered the smoked salmon & avocado toast and it was exactly as you’d expect. I also got the sea scallop crudo and it was quite nice. But the star of the show was obviously the Bloody Mary, so let’s chat about how it measured up.

Key Takeaways

This Bloody Mary costs $20 and is served in a standard highball glass, along with a pickled pepper, olive and pearl onion. The flavors include roasted red pepper, harissa, capers, and St. George green chile vodka. I’ve never had that vodka before, but you can bet that I’m totally picking up a bottle when I see it!

The flavor was really nicely balanced and had a great red pepper and harissa flavor was accentuated by the flavored vodka and caper juice. It was really unique and left me wanting more. I would 100% come back for this Bloody again.

It genuinely is one of my favorite Bloody Marys in NYC. I totally recommend checking this one out if you’re nearby.
